Particle Mesh Baking Tool - Lite
A downloadable tool for Windows
This is a tool that bakes the data needed for a mesh based particle system!
Simply import a mesh, select the desired number of particles, and export the baked particle mesh!
Then you can bring the particle mesh into Unity (or any game engine) and apply a Particle Mesh Shader to drive the particle system
You can also download a basic Fire Particle Mesh Shader + all the basic shader nodes you need to build your own Shader!
Particle Mesh Data -
Vertex Position = Particles Object Position
Vertex Normals are per particle and based on the parent mesh's vertex normals
UV0 = Particle Surface, 0 ->1 UV space
UV1 = Particle ID / Random Value 0->1
UV2 = Copies Parent Mesh's UV0
